What is the criteria for becoming a member?
Our agency is a true matchmaking service, not a dating service. Our members join with the intention of dating in order to find a meaningful relationship. Therefore we look for people who want the same. This does not have to equal marriage but it does entail the desire for commitment.
Is there an age restriction?
Yes, there is. Our members are typically in their 50s and up or wanting to date in that age range. We do not accept anyone in their 20s or 30s.
Why is this more effective than other ways to meet people?
This is a more concentrated efffort to find the right person rather than a random meeting with someone who may have a few of the qualities you're looking for but not enough. Also, our members do not want to sit in a bar or have the job of sifting through people on the internet. They want a safe and effective way to meet quality people with whom they have a lot in common; similar interests, socio-economic backgrounds, level of activity, etc. While they are busy going about their daily lives they are happy to leave that work up to us!
Why is this safer than other means?
Not only do we take the time to sit down and get to know each and every one of our members, we also do background checks on everyone to eliminate any possibility of a shady background. When you meet someone through us we know who they are, where they live and when you're going to meet them. We are proud to say that in 15 years of service our members have always been safe with us.
How long is the membership?
Our membership is 12 months, though most of our members are in relationships before the end of that period. Most often we have fabulous people to introduce to you right now but it's good to allow some time for us to bring in new people for you to meet.
What is the success rate?
3 out of 4 members will experience success within 12 months (or less!). The others are confident to renew their membership at a lower fee and then have success as well.
What if I have an emergency during my membership and I'm unavailable to meet people for some time?
Sometimes our members need us to freeze their memberships while they deal with an unforeseen matter in their lives and we are happy to accommodate them. We also extend a freeze for people who do not live in the desert full time.
What happens to my membership if I meet someone on my own?
Truthfully, this rarely happens because our introductions are more solid than those whom people find on their own but in the rare case that it happens you may transfer your membership to a qualified person. They will have to pay a small fee for initiation.
How do you match your clients?
Again, we match on similar lifestyles, activity level, socio-economic backgrounds and what you have stated that you are looking for in a person. Your matchmaker will call you to discuss a potential match and you have the option of accepting or passing on a match. If you pass it does not count as a match.
Do I get to see a picture of the person first?
Yes. We will email you a picture if you like. All pictures are taken by our own photographer to assure that it is a current picture. After you join you will get a call from our photographer to set up an appointment either in your home or in her studio. Our company pays for the session.
What happens when I get matched?
After both parties have consented to a match the gentleman will call the lady and arrange a time and place to meet. Remember to call your matchmaker to let her know how it went!
How do I get started?
Call us now to set up your initial, complimentary, no obligation meeting. If we chose to invite you to become a member and you want to join we will enroll you at that time.
Do I get to meet my matchmaker?
Of course! You will have a full session at a later date to meet your matchmaker and discuss further who you are and what you are looking for in a partner. Feel free to bring pictures of your family, pets, home or anything else you wish, though it is not mandatory that you do so.
Please note that for the privacy of our clients we only discuss our rates in the initial consultation.
